Reizen Door Australië
Zoals u op de afbeeldingen hieronder kutn zien is Australië een enorm groot land. Om volledig van uw vakantie te kunnen genieten raden wij aan om uw route, en dan vooral de afstand, goed in te schatten. Het is voorstandig om liever op een ontspannen tempo te reizen en te genieten van de vele attracties, dan iedere dag vele kilometers af te leggen. Een richtlijn voor het aantal af te leggen kilometers bedraagt tussen de 150 - 250 kilometers per dag.
Veilig reizen
U dient er rekening mee houden dat er in Australië aan de linker weghelft gereden wordt, u te allen tijde de verkeersborden en verkeersregels moet gehoorzamen en u altijd de veiligheidsgordel om dient te hebben. Daarnaast dient de bestuurder van de auto altijd zijn rijbewijs bij zich hebben. Het is verstandig om de Australische verkeersregels van te voren al te bekijken, zodat u een probleemloze vakantie kunt veiligstellen.
*Houd er rekening mee dat de door u opgelopen verkeersboetes, snelheid, verkeerd parkeren of tol, voor uw eigen rekening zijn.
Reis voorwaarden
Om uw veiligheid te waarborgen heeft Apollo een aantal beperkingen voor sommige voertuigen. Voor de auto's met tweewielaandrijving geldt dat u alleen op verharde wegen mag rijden of hooguit 500 meter op goed onderhouden onverharde wegen om bijvoorbeeld bij uw campingplaats te komen.
Voor de auto's met vierwielaandrijving geldt dat u op onverharde wegen mag reizen, maar u alleen toestemming van Apollo heeft voor de volgende gebieden: Elk eiland, Tasmania, Simpson Desert, Gunbarrel Highway, Cape York (North of Daintree River), Oodnadatta Track, Birdsville Track, Tanami Track, Gibb River Road, Kalumburu Road, Warburton Road, Strzelecki Track, Cape Leveque, Bungle Bugles en andere afgelegen gebieden.
Er zijn geen voertuigen toegestaan op de laatste 2 kilometer van de Lennard River Gorge Road , de Canning Stock-route, de Lost City in Litchfield Park en de Telegraph Road richting Cape York.

Alle voertuigen van Apollo zijn onderhouden volgens de hoogste standaards in de branche, mocht u daarentegen toch pech krijgen dan biedt Apollo 24 uurs pech- en ongeluksservice. Als u assistentie nodig heeft hoeft u alleen GE Fleet Services 1300 734 767 te bellen en zij zullen direct iemand langssturen om u te helpen, zodat u uw reis zo snel als mogelijk weer kunt voortzetten.
