Cape Byron is Austalia's most easterly point and is located on the far north coast of New South Wales. It can be easily found off the Pacific Highway 175 km south of Brisbane or 800km north of Sydney. Snorkeling
Located almost 3 kilometers from Byron Bay the Julian Rocks Marine Park is rated among the top ten scuba diving locations in Australia. The mixture of tropical warm currents with cooler temperate waters makes for a unique diving experience. There is an amazing diversity and abundance of fish life with over 600 recorded species of tropical, temperate and pelagic fish. Whales, Dolphins, Manta Rays, Leopard Sharks, the endangered Grey Nurse Shark and three species of Turtle are all common visitors to the Julian Rocks.
